If you receive unemployment, you better be able to pass a drug test.
That's the message from New Mexico Congressman Steve Pearce, who has introduced legislation in the U.S. House that would require unemployment beneficiaries pass a drug test.
Under house bill 1277, anyone receiving unemployment benefits would have to be tested within three months of receiving their first check.
Anyone who tests negative would be reimbursed the cost of the drug test.
