El Paso- An update to a story we first brought you last night after the olympics. A man hit by a car last night in northeast El Paso has died. Police say 31-year-old Ricardo Rangel was walking in the middle of the street on Antonio when he was hit by a a red sedan. The driver stayed on the scene and called 911. Ambulances rushed Rangel to University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. Police say he'd been drinking before getting hit. The 21-year-old driver will not face charges.
This is the 10th pedestrian death in El Paso this year.
