EL PASO-Just about $45,000, that's the damage total to the Sunset View Park that was burned by vandals last week.
The city is asking for help from those who use the parks to prevent other parks from going up in flames. The sun city has more than 200 parks and each one of them gets a visit once a week by a crew out to maintain and fix any problems. The city does this so kids can have a safe and clean place to play but, the city can't be everywhere all the time.
