An organization against animal abuse is fuming, after an outdoor adventure company in British Columbia slaughtered 100 sled dogs.

The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) wants the matter investigated. The company, Outdoor Adventures Whistler, reportedly killed the animals because of a slump in business after the Olympics.

A worker with the SPCA in British Columbia said some dogs were shot, while others' throats were slit before their bodies were thrown into a mass grave.
