EL PASO — A portion of far East El Paso was out of power Friday, affecting nearly 1,400 customers of El Paso Electric. The first report was called in at 12:25 p.m. and power was completely restored by 3:40 p.m.
A spokesperson for EPE said power was disrupted because of damaged equipment. Residents of the Montana Vista area near Montana and Loop 375 were affected.
