EL PASO — Police officers saved a child's life at a home in Lower Valley El Paso Sunday night, police said.
Police Officers working for the Housing Authority of El Paso and Officers from the Mission Valley Regional Command were investigating a call of a broken window when they were approached by a distressed woman needing help for her nephew who was choking. According to the report, the officers began life saving efforts and managed to dislodge a candy that the child was choking on.
Fire Medical Personnel responded to the scene and found that the toddler was doing okay and did not need to be taken to the hospital.
