Federal investigators are holding a hearing today (Thursday) to examine what may have led to a deadly UPS plane crash last year in Alabama. This morning, an investigator testified that he found no mechanical problem with the cargo plane, its systems or its warning devices.
The plane crashed on approach at Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport on August 14th, 2013. Two crew members aboard the plane died.
So far, investigators haven't released the cause of the crash. The NTSB is expected to hear from several organizations during its one-day hearing, including UPS and the Federal Aviation Administration.
