NEW YORK — New Yorkers will soon be unable to order a super-sized soda from fast food restaurants.
Now, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg has his sights on cutting sugary and fatty foods from public and private hospitals.
The crackdown on hospital cafeterias will include banning deep fryers, making salad options mandatory and allowing only healthy snacks.
Many New York hospitals have already restricted sodas and candy from their vending machines.
