A new Pew Research study shows that parents whose kids graduate from college live an average of two years longer than those with children who don't. Two sociologists focused on the relationship between how far a child goes in their schooling and how long their parents live.
They found that better-educated children may influence their parents to adopt healthier lifestyles, which in turn would add years to the parents' lives.
