SANTA FE, NM — What's in a word? Apparently a lot.
The New Mexico legislature may vote to revamp all their legislative documents to have "gender- neutral language.
For example, instead of "him" the language would change to "him or her", and from "his" to "his or her".
The bill was introduced by Sen. John Sapien from Santa Fe.
