EL PASO, TX — The City of El Paso Public Art Program of the Museums and Cultural Affairs Department has extended the deadline for local artists who want to showcase their artwork at the new AAA baseball stadium in Downtown El Paso.
The deadline is now Monday January 21st.
Three artists or art teams will be chosen to design, fabricate and install artwork for the stadium.
Eligibility Requirements: This project is open to artists living in the El Paso, Texas.
Artists applying for this project must have previous public art and design team experience and an understanding of public and community interaction.
Budget: Total project budget is $150,000 to include design, fabrication, and installation.
This is an invitational call to Local artists.
The budget is all-inclusive and must cover design fees, travel expenses, all materials and fabrication costs, insurance costs, engineering expenses, shipping and transportation to the site, and installation.
