Music Under the Stars celebrates 30 years, releases 2013 lineup

EL PASO, TEXAS (KDBC) — In it's 30th run, the annual Music Under the Stars released its concert lineup with a kickoff by local Latin dance musicians Frontera Bugalu.

The GECU-sponsored summer concert series begins Sunday, June 9 at the Chamizal National Memorial and will continue through August 11. Lineup is posted below.

"Summers are always a great time to spend with family and friends," said GECU President and CEO Crystal Long. "GECU and Music Under the Stars is a great partnership about community, family and friends and we're excited to work together to bring the most exciting season yet for the entire community to enjoy!"

The free concerts will be held from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sunday evenings at the park on 800 South San Marcial St.

As always, grills are allowed at the park except at the inner part of the park known as the bowl. There is no smoking in the bowl area. Outside alcohol is not permitted at the park. Food, beverages, and alcoholic beverages will be for sale within the park. Glass containers or pets are not allowed.

July 4- El Paso Wind Symphony- Orchestra (El Paso, Texas) Patriotic Celebration with fireworks to follow performance.
