EL PASO, TX — The murder trial began Monday for the man accused of shooting and killing a man back in 2002.
Alfredo Holguin, 37 is charged in the murder of 22-year-old Mark Cedillo.
Holguin and another man, Benito Holguin, who was killed years later in Juarez allegedly got into a fight with Cedillo then shot and killed him.
Jurors heard testimony from several witnesses, including the interim chief medical examiner.
Holguin was arrested in Juarez last year at a traffic stop.
He faces up to life in prison.
