EL PASO — A mother is accused of driving drunk with her 4-year-old year old daughter in the back seat.
El Paso County Sheriff's deputies said 24-year-old Ashley Knott was drunk when she hit a truck on Wake Forrest Lane and Sparks Drive Friday afternoon.
Deputies said the 4-year-old girl who was not secured in a booster seat suffered a broken foot and a concussion.
The 22-year-old driver of the truck suffered a broken jaw.
Deputies charged Knott with DWI with a child, intoxicated assault with a vehicle causing serious injury, injury to a child and criminal mischief after she allegedly damaged a patrol car's window.
