The Texas Department of Public Safety has released the top 100 congested roads in all of Texas, and El Paso is home to three of them.
FM 659 from Sun Fire Boulevard to I-10 ranks in the top 30 most congested roads. Lee Trevino from US 62 to I-10 and I-10 from US 54 to SL 375 also made the top 100.
The index used to judge the road congestion was a comparison between how long it would take to drive with no traffic and how long with traffic.
