El Paso, TX (KDBC) — Officers seized more than $400,000 worth of marijuana at El Paso's port of entry over the weekend.
Officers say the largest seizure was made at the Ysleta international crossing on Saturday.
CBP drug sniffing dog searched a mini van and alerted them to the gas tank.
Officers discovered seven metal boxes with bundles of marijuana weighting 121.95 pounds.
Officers arrested the driver, 57-year-old Sergio Morales Vazquez of Arrey, New Mexico.
He was turned over to Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) special agents to face federal charges and remains in custody at the El Paso County jail and is being held without bond.
