One year ago Monday downtown El Paso looked a little like a ghost town as city hall came tumbling down.

The demolition of the 10 story building rocked downtown El Paso and left behind about a thousand truck loads of debris. The 34 year-old building was torn down to make way for El Paso's new baseball stadium.

One year later no signs of the old city hall remain. All the debris is now in city landfills.

Meanwhile, construction on El Paso's new baseball stadium is close to complete. Opening day for the Chihuahuas is now just two short weeks away. The first game is still scheduled to be played on Monday, April 28th.
