NEW YORK — The NAACP and the Hispanic Federation are fighting New York City's ban on large sugary drinks.
They say it's unfair to small, minority-owned businesses.
The groups claim larger competitors, like 7-Eleven and grocery stores, would get a pass because they are regulated by New York state, not the city -- and are exempted from the law.
The ban is due to go into effect in March.
