Juarez - - Mexico's President is expected to arrive in Juarez later this morning.
Felipe Calderon is expected to unveil proposals including economic aid to help the city battle the drug cartels.
Cartel violence has claimed thousands of lives over the years making Juarez one of the most dangerous cities in the world.
President Calderon will hold a news conference at 1pm. He is expected to leave Juarez around 3pm.
