SAN ANTONIO - Tomorrow morning the defense will begin its case in week two of the David Marmolejo retrial.
Over the past six days jurors have heard testimony from 26 witnesses called by the prosecution.
Marmolejo is accused of killing his mother Gloria and dumping her body in the desert.
