LAS CRUCES — A Las Cruces man is headed to prison for killing his wife in front of three young children.
A jury today delivered a guilty verdict in the trial of Horace Solomon. The 40-year-old broke into his estranged wife's home in 2010 and beat her before repeatedly stabbing her with a kitchen knife.
Jenny Bates died in front of three young children two of them her own. Solomon made the kids watch as he killed the 35-year-old.
