EL PASO – A man is charged with abandoning three children inside an apartment and carrying an illegal baton in Northeast El Paso.
Investigators say a police officer saw 26-year-old Brian Vanosdol carrying the club behind the Hawaiian Royale Motel at 8735 Dyer around 2:15 a.m. and then shined a light on him.
After arresting him, police say the officer learned Vanosdol had left three young children, ages 5, 4 and 1, inside an apartment without supervision.
