EL PASO — Police arrested a 44-year-old man after he was caught using forged tickets at the Ysleta Mission Festival.
The investigation revealed that Jesus Ayala had purchased several food items from various vendors at the Ysleta Mission Festival when off-duty officers working at the festival were notified that the tickets used by Ayala were counterfeit. Police said he returned to the Ysleta Mission Festival to buy more items when off-duty officers met with him and discovered he was in possession of over 400 counterfeit tickets.
Ayala was charged with forgery and booked into the El Paso County Jail.
