EL PASO, TX — A man is in police custody tonight for allegedly punching a two-year-old boy in the face.
Police were called out to Tyler street in central El Paso this afternoon after receiving reports the child was hurt. The boy was taken to University Medical Center for his injuries. Police say they have the man in custody but his name has not been released.
The man's relationship to the child is unknown at this time. The crimes against persons unit has stepped in to investigate the case.
