EL PASO — A 22-year-old is accused of punching a 2-year-old boy.
Police said Alex Juarez is charged with injury to a child and he was booked into the El Paso County Jail with a $100,000 bond.
Police were called out to Tyler Street in central El Paso Friday afternoon after receiving reports a child was hurt.
The boy was taken to University Medical Center for his injuries.
Fortunately, he's expected to recover.
Juarez's relationship to the child is unknown at this time.
