LAS CRUCES, NM — A man is arrested in Las Cruces accused of kidnapping and beating a woman in Fabens.
El Paso Sheriff's said 36-year-old Ignacio Sosa kidnapped a 31-year-old woman Thursday night.
They said Sosa took her to a canal where he severely beat her throughout the night.
Emergency crews rushed the woman to a hospital.
Doña Ana County deputies later found Sosa in Las Cruces.
Sosa is facing charges of aggravated kidnapping and violation of a protective order.
