Macintosh celebrates 30-year Anniversary

Nearly 30 years ago, the computer industry changed forever when the release of the Apple Macintosh personal computer happened on January 24, 1984.

It was unveiled by Steve Jobs.

The computer sold for about $2,500. Apple released the Macintosh to be the first personal computer with graphical user interface and was coined "the computer for the rest of us".
