SAN ELIZARIO, Texas — In response to the Sandy Hook tragedy and in response to what happened at EPISD on Friday, San Elizario Independent School District decided they'll have "lockdown" drills this week on their campuses.
The district says they are re-enforcing policies already in place by the district.
Teachers have been trained and are practicing policies and procedures set forth by the district.
