El Paso — El Pasoans who love performing, dancing, and singing had a chance to win $100,000 on Sunday.

Our sister stations NewsChannel 9 and Estrella-TV hosted auditions for the hit program 'Tengo Talento Mucho Talento' at the Fountains at Farah.

'Tengo Talento' showcases a talent competition that ends with one contestant being awarded a $100,000 management contract.

Organizers say they think this year, the competition will be tough.

"They've got all kinds of talents and that's really good to see that people are taking the opportunity to come out here and sit in front of some pretty important T.V. people from L.A. And give it their shot," said Giovanni Silva, Operations and Marketing assistant with the Fountains at Farah.

Tengo Talento producers will choose local talent to participate in the national show which is recorded in California.
