A local middle school and UTEP team up for a special event

UPPER VALLEY — A local middle school and UTEP teamed up to raise awareness for heart disease.

Lincoln Middle School students and students from UTEP's Kinesiology program are raising money for the American Heart Association as part of their 'Hoops for Heart' event.

It was held Thursday at Lincoln Middle School in the Upper Valley.

This is the second year for the event.
