EL PASO — We never know when tragedy may strike and that's why local attorneys are helping people get prepared.
Attorneys from the El Paso County Attorney's Office, University Medical Center and other organizations helped people fill out living wills.
Something, they said, is important for everyone.
"It happens every day. We have people come in who are not expecting to need medical care. Folks that have been in an accident or had some sudden condition come upon them, and if they're unable to speak for themselves and they don't have this kind of documents, it creates a number of difficulties," said Assistant County Attorney Edward Sosa
People interested in filling out the forms can download them from the County Attorney's website at www.epcounty.com/ca.
