El Paso, TX (KDBC) — Legendary hard rock band Heart, led by sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson are on their way to El Paso in the fall.
The concert announcement was made Tuesday afternoon by El Paso Live and promoter, R-Entertainment. Heart will appear at the Abraham Chavez Theater on Sunday, October 19th.
Heart was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013, and is listed as number 57 on the list of "100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock."
The band rose to fame in 1976 with the release of their first commercial album, Dreamboat Annie. Dreamboat Annie contained some of Heart's biggest hits such as "Crazy on You" and "Magic Man." The success of the band continued with the release of their second record, Little Queen, which contained the wildly popular hit song "Barracuda."
Heart has sold over 35 million records worldwide, including seven Top Ten albums, four Grammy nominations and had 20 Top 40 singles. The band is also listed as a major influence on many other artists.
Tickets will go on sale Friday, August 15th at noon at the Plaza Theatre Box Office and online at www.ticketmaster.com. According to Ticketmaster, the cost of the tickets range between $77 and $108 each, depending on seating location.
