Las Cruces Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Pic Quick store on Missouri Ave. late Tuesday night.

LPCD say that two armed men entered the Pic Quick, located at 2240 Missouri Ave., just before 11 p.m. Tuesday night. The pair demanded cash from the store clerk and left with an undisclosed amount of cash on foot, heading east toward Payne St.

Witnesses described the men as being around 5-foot-3 inches to 5-foot-5 inches tall, both with slim builds. One of the two men was wearing a dark colored hoodie and the other wore a black and white flannel shirt. Both men were armed with handguns.

Police are now asking the public for help identifying the pair. If you have any information, please contact Las Cruces Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or send a tip via text message to CRIMES (274637), keyword LCTIPS.

This comes just one week after two separate armed robberies at a Pic Quick store on Sonoma Ranch and a Shell Gas Station on S. Solano Dr. injured a man who was washing his car at a nearby carwash on August 19th. Pic Quick is offering a $2,000 reward for information on that robbery. Police have not said whether they believe the two sets of robberies are connected.
