A Las Cruces man dragged by a pick-up truck last week has died and now Las Cruces Crime Stoppers is offering an even larger reward for information leading to the hit and run driver.
The crash happened near McCoy's Building Supply on South Valley Drive Wednesday night.
Las Cruces police said Terrence Patrick Havey, 57 was hit by a red, full sized GMC or Chevy pick-up truck and was dragged on the roadway. The driver then left the scene. Police are still searching for that driver. The last known direction of the truck was south on Main Street near University Avenue.
Anyone with information is asked to call Las Cruces Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
Tips could lead to a $2,000 reward.
