LAS CRUCES - City leaders are going public with their curbside recycling plans.
A city forum on the proposal starts at 6 p.m. at the Joint Utilities Center on Motel Boulevard.
Two options are on the table.
One would charge seniors for most curbside recycling costs.
The other would charge everyone the same; an extra $2.59 a month.
The Las Cruces City Council could vote on the measure as early as next month.
