Juarez, MX (KDBC) — A world-class interactive children's museum in Juarez will officially open to the public this Friday.
La Rodadora is described as a museum of the new millennium, and provides a place for Juarenses to share ideas about the world, humanity, and the unique, multicultural community that is Juárez.
The museum is themed around the convergence of the natural and the social, allowing for visitors to discover how these two concepts have evolved our world and the human race to what it is today.
"We are thrilled to finally open our doors to the people of Ciudad Juárez after nearly ten years of hard work, collaboration, and great imagination to bring this wonderful place to life," said Karen Álamo, Director of La Rodadora.
Upon opening, it will be one of the five largest interactive museums in Latin America, and the third largest in Mexico.
La Rodadora will be open Tuesdays through Fridays from 9:00am to 5:00pm, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00am to 7:00pm.
Museum admission (in Mexican pesos) is $65 (around $5 USD), admission to the 3D Theater is $30 (around $2.50 USD), or $79 (around $6.25 USD) for both a visit to the museum and a 3D movie.
