El Paso, Texas (KDBC) — A stretch of Interstate 10 in downtown El Paso is once again lit up.
Several arches are once again being lit up. They were first installed back in 1997 on I-10 east between Wyoming and Dallas, but just a couple of years later the were shut off.
TXDOT officials say the lights are back in a test period and should be up and running by Christmas. It's part of the aesthetics project with a cost of $235,000.
