Your next hotel stay may soon cost you a little more because of higher hotel rates.
According to an international survey by Trip-Advisor, about half the hotels in the US are expecting to raise their rates this fall, compared to last. Many hotels reported high profits for the first half of the year, giving them their positive outlook for the Fall. The survey also found hotels to be doing well in Indonesia, Brazil, Russia, and India.
Trip-Advisor's survey found only 16 percent of hotels expect to charge a lower room rate this fall.
