Homeless Woman Stabbed in South El Paso

A woman was stabbed and another woman was arrested for the crime.

Police said a homeowner and a homeless woman, who may have been drunk, got into an argument on Rosa and Marr just after 2 p.m. Friday in south central El Paso.

They said the homeowner broke a bottle and stabbed the other woman in the abdomen.

Police said the victim walked two blocks and called 911. They took her to UMC and is expected to be OK.

The homeowner was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
