Seventy-six year old Guadalupe Mijares was struck and killed Friday night.
The driver who allegedly hit him, fled the scene, then turned himself in on Monday.
Those who knew Mijares say that's not enough.
The accidnet happend near Gateway East near Geronimo.
Police say his car had broken down on I-10.
This afternoon we went to Mijares home and spoke with his wife of 52 years.
She showed us a picture of her husband taken years earlier.
While she was too upset to talk on camera about what happened.
Her friends and neighbors spoke out in anger - because the driver of the car didn't stop to help.
