Helicopter crashes on roof of Albuquerque hospital, pilot injured

A pilot was injured Wednesday after the helicopter he was flying crashed on the roof of University of New Mexico hospital in Albuquerque.

A witness said the helicopter took off then started to wobble before it jerked and crashed near the helipad.

Three people were inside the helicopter when it went down, none of them were patients.

Two crew members escaped unharmed.

The pilot was injured, his condition is unknown.

The top floor of the hospital was evacuated as a precaution.
