A new teen health center is now open in west El Paso. The Sierra Providence Teen Resource cCnter offers free pregnancy testing, doctor referral services as well as a medicaid program.

The center is the fifth to open up in El Paso.

Directors say they are not encouraging teen pregnancy but are offering an outlet for young girls who need it.

"We want to make sure that they feel comfortable, that they fell like that they can come to us and that we treat them the way they should be treated. That we do the right thing and we treat them as individuals. We don't focus on the age. We focus on healthy mom, healthy baby," said Marcella Van Hoove, of the center.

The center is located on the 5000 block of Doniphan behind Walgreens.
