Seven bullets from Juarez hit El Paso City Hall.
We spoke to a gun expert to see just how far these bullets can go.
Harold Shirley is a retired Sergeant Major and salesman at Sun City Guns.
He showed us a U.S. Legal AK 47 similar to the ones used in Juarez.
The only difference is that the guns used across the border are fully automatic.
They can shoot as far as a mile and a half.
"The range capabilities of the 39 cartridge which was used, you fire it at a 45 degree angle from the Mexican side of the border it would be easy to hit City Hall at that distance," Shirley said.
Shirley says he believes the bullets found at City Hall were all fired from one gun and that they were not targeting City Hall.
