It's case closed on a big robbery spree. Police say they finally busted a group of people who have been robbing businesses throughout the city. They tell us a man and woman got out of a van today in the parking lot of the Lee Trevino Shopping Plaza, wearing surgical masks and carrying handguns. That's when officers stepped in and apprehended a total of five suspects, three men and two women, who they believe were targeting the Check N Go. Officers say the group was traveling with a one month old baby. As you may recall, earlier this month, An Ace Cash Express on Yarbrough was also robbed. Police believe today's suspects are responsible for robbing that Ace Cash Express back on August 3rd, as well as the Mesa Inn on Mesa street, a Baskin Robbins on the east side and another Check N Go. The suspects have yet to be identified.
