Tuesday, February 4, 2014 - 12:28pm

You likely remember the incredible so-called, "Space Jump" in 2012 by Austrian daredevil Felix Baumgartner.

Now 16 months after the stunt, the GoPro camera company has released new video showing the 24 mile plunge from Baumgartner's perspective.

This is what he saw after making the breathtaking leap from a high altitude balloon.

Baumgartner made the jump from 128,000 feet in altitude, a world record for a manned balloon flight.

He fell at speeds up to 843 miles per hour, faster than the speed of sound, and landed safely just over five minutes later.

So how does Baumgartner plan to follow up this epic stunt?

In a December 2013 interview with CNN, he said he hopes to use his skills as a professional helicopter pilot to help in rescue operations and firefighting missions, in Europe and the United States.
