Girl Rescued After Being Kidnapped

EL PASO, TX — Police say a little girl has been rescued after a man allegedly kidnapped her. Police say the girl was playing in her front yard at the intersection of Turnstone and Riverbend when she was taken by a man in his thirties. Nearby gardeners heard the commotion and intervened to rescue the little girl. The alleged kidnapper is now in police custody. Police have not released the suspect's name, but say he is not related to the child in any way. The Crimes Against Persons Unit is still collecting evidence at the scene and the incident is still under investigation.
