EL PASO — Gas prices have jumped up in the last week but it doesn't appear to be affecting Labor Day travel.
The national average for a gallon of regular gas is $3.83, statewide it's $3.67 and here in El Paso it's $3.43, up 28 cents from a month ago.
Despite the higher prices, Triple A expects more people to hit the road this weekend than last Labor Day.
