EL PASO — It's a trend that continues to plague consumers: rising gas prices.
The nation has seen gas prices steadily climb over the past week.
According to Triple A, the national average for a gallon of regular gas is $3.72, 5 cents more than a week ago and 29 cents more than last month.
The average in Texas is $3.55 and in El Paso it's $3.30.
It's 14 cents more to pump gas than last year at this time.
