Gang unit charges two in South-Central stabbing

 The El Paso Police Department's gang unit arrested two men for their alleged involvement in last weekend's stabbing in South-Central El Paso.

Investigators said a 33-year-old man was stabbed twice and a 19-year-old man was assaulted and left with facial fractures at a house party on the 100 block of N. Seville just after midnight on Saturday, April 12.

Police said the first suspect, 25-year-old Jose Roman was arrested Tuesday and charged with one count of organized criminal activity-aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. His bond was set at $20,000.

The second suspect, 25-year-old Sergio Cisneros, was arrested on Thursday, according to investigators.  Cisneros was booked on the same charge as Roman plus an additional charge of aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury. His bonds totaled $30,000.
