EL PASO — Las Palmas Medical Center is hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a new Women and Teens Resource Center. The center is located on 865 Resler Suite D in west El Paso. Las Palmas officials say they want to provide women quality prenatal to help reduce any pregnancy risks a mother may have. The center will offer free pregnancy testing and referral services to a doctor. It will also include free classes on nutrition during pregnancy, post partum care and newborn safety classes.
